British jazz saxophonist (tenor), clarinetist, oboist, arranger, composer and vocalist. Born : September 19, 1915 in Gosport, Hampshire, England. Died : September 16, 1956 in Middlesex, England. 'Reggie' was a lead own band through the 1930s, after joined at the "Billy Ternent's BBC Dance Orchestra", with Stanley Black (1944), George Crow (1945-'46), again led own band from 1947 to 1955.
