Radio DJ/Presenter, music industry professional. Born on April 5, 1933, in Gainesville, FL, USA. Died on Sept. 19, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Reggie Lavong was DJ on the New York radio station WWRL. He was also at one time Vice President of R & B marketing for Capitol Records. In the 1970's he became known as a vociferous advocate of black people's rights, and he recorded Skin Deep as a powerful message on behalf of black people in the US.
