A.k.a. Reginald John Connelly
British songwriter and music publisher, mainly active during the 1920s and 1930s. Connelly formed a publishing and songwriting team with fellow Brit James Campbell (aka. Jimmy Campbell). They also collaborated with other songwriters. Among their best known compositions are If I Had You (1928), Goodnight Sweetheart (1931) and Try A Little Tenderness (1933). The duo of Connelly and Campbell sometimes used the alias Irving King.
