*1954 AT

Austrian author and journalist, specialised in music and theatre, born 1954 in Graz. He teaches at the universities in Vienna and Graz, and from 2002 until 2012 he was the editor in chief for the contemporay music and jazz programs of the Südwestdeutscher Rundfunk in Baden-Baden. Since July 2012 Kager lives again as a freelance author in Vienna. He is working as a correspondent for ARD, Neue Musikzeitung, the ORF and others.
