Remko Koopman (1974) is an artist from Leiden, The Netherlands. Besides his work as a professional graphic designer Koopman is an autonomous artist with roots in the Dutch Hip Hop and graffitiscene of the 80's and 90′s. His interests lie in industrial architecture, technology, machinery, nano robotics and sci-fi which have lead to a recognizable personal style. Electronic music is a huge source of inspiration for his artwork. Koopman is affiliated with the electronic music scene of The Hague/Rotterdam/Leiden a.k.a. The Westcoast Sound Of Holland. He created artwork and mural paintings for I-F & Intergalactic FM, Panama Racing Club, Crème Organization and techno label Collision.
