Repose was a pop-rock band based in the South-East of the Netherlands, Originally based in and around Helden, Limburg, members, spread to Arnhem and Eindhoven. The foundation of the band was formed in 1993, when, Stef Visser and René Giesbertz started a band. Casper de Vos joined half a year later, and year later Maja de Lint as well. After working with several other musicians, and even releasing 2 demo's under the name Nemesis, Repose was formed when Raymond Knaapen joined the band. The band split in 2000, when Maja de Lint and Casper de Vos left the band, after which Ivo Visser joined the remaining members to form the cover band Het Eerste Verbod, which played several concerts until 2004. At this moment Stef Visser and René Giesbertz, are playing in the Arnhem based band Okesweer.
