Hailing from Oxford in the UK, Drum & Bass newcomer Reuben Pearce (SKULPTURE) is coming through with his most passionate musical form. From an early age Reuben fell in love with the heavy hitting rhythms and bass of breakbeat/jungle alongside the other worldly soundscapes and hypnotic grooves associated with techno. Cutting his Djing teeth through free parties he moved on to forming breakbeat duo 'Groove Diggerz' with Rob Savage. Fast forward to 2013 and Reuben went back to his first love drum n bass. Though this soul connection with the deeper, techno influenced sounds of the drum and bass spectrum, Skulpture's music is aimed directly at those dark, smoke n laser filled rooms and those heads who love to get lost in the groove.
