Band,
Rock
Progressive Doom metal band from Baltimore, Maryland (U.S.A.) formed in 1986. Formed in 1985 under the name Panic. In June '86 they changed their name to Revelation, derived from the Trouble (5) song "Revelation (Life or Death)". Dennis Cornelius originally joined as second guitarist in 1993, then John Brenner left, followed by Josh Hart. Dennis asked Jim Hunter to join on bass, and this line-up produced the "...Yet So Far" album and two demos. In 2007, John Brenner and Bert Hall, Jr. rejoined, and the "...Yet So Far" line-up amicably dissolved, with Jim already busy in several other bands, while Dennis formed Memory Driven. Started out as a traditional doom metal band but became increasingly progressive over time. All their members also recorded and performed as Against Nature.
