This is a recording of Rhythmicon's debut performance, which took place on 23rd July 2003 in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The organisers of the event asked performers to provide a "feedback mechanism" to enable members of the audience to give their reactions. We decided to treat the request literally: applause and other sounds from the audience were fed into a laptop computer and processed live, along with the sounds of the musical instruments, and integrated into the performance.
