A.k.a. Armando Llamado Jaume Sisa
Ricardo Solfa is one of Jaume Sisa's alter egos, born in 1974. Sisa, Jordi Batiste, Gato Pérez & Manel Joseph decided to release their love for "retro"& "camp" music. They founded a band to play everything, except jazz and prog music, that was what they did before: boleros, cumbias, italian & french songs, 50´s rock & roll, twist, tangos… The music they heard on radio when they were children. Their band was named Orquestra Plateria, and their debut in 1974 was a success. Sisa (Ricardo Solfa in the orchestra) and Jordi Batiste (Rocky Muntanyola) would play some years with them, but finally on their records their singer was Manel Joseph (El Trilla). It was his first recording. The album included also a version of Sisa's "L´home Dibuixat", sang by Muntanyola as a Cha-cha-chá. Albert Batiste (from Música Dispersa) was the bassist and arranger.
