Riccardo Perotti was born in Manta, Ecuador, of guayaquileña mother and Italian father. He recorded his first album of original music at 16 years as leader of the trio "Harvest", which encouraged him to enter Berklee College of Music in Boston and pursue music professionally. He launched his solo career in 1990 with the single "Who told you that love is easy," which was named Best Song of the Year just 41 days later. This success was followed by "Just for you", "Although not where you are", "Just you are", "Nothing remains," "Die Hard," "Rolling again", etc. By 1995, he had managed to stay for more than 57 weeks at # 1 National Radios, more than any other artist before. He was also the first Ecuadorian artist wrest the No. 1 international artists in the annual rankings of radio. It becomes one of the most renowned artists of Ecuador. Produced artists and bands.
