Singer of Rock
Original singer-songwriter of War Cry (US) based out of Chicago, USA. Appeared on War Cry's Trilogy of Terror debut release as well as Metal Blade Records Metal Massacre 4 with the track, "Forbidden Evil." After leaving War Cry in 1985, Rich formed Battalion and preceded to release "Battalion - Deafcon 4." Included in Deafcon 4 was the track Reign of Terror written by Rich Rozek in 1986 but later recorded by Tyrant's Reign in 1987. Battalion was short-lived and Rich took a break from music until he was asked to join the band Dorian Grey and did several releases with the band. Rich left Dorian Grey in 1992 and established what was to be the very first Chicago metal magazine called Subculture in 1993 which had a successful run of 5 years. After numerous inquiries about the status of War Cry, Rich decided to bring the band back in 2005. In 2006, the full-length CD Forbidden Evil was released. Now, Rich is currently in pre-production for the next release called "REGRESSION," which will also feature the follow-up to Trilogy of Terror called "Trilogy of Terror 2" in 2017. The band will release a single before that time.
