The novel itself is rather infamous for its unique marketing; many copies have been given away for free at various events. Wild Animus is part of a project by Rich Shapero which experiments with unique forms of storytelling that combines book and music. The music of Wild Animus is being released on three CDs -- The Ram, The Wolves and Animus.
