Spoken Word (Poetry)
Dating of 2 or three versions of Caedmon TC 1141 releases are a conundrum.

Love Poems Of John Donne
Alleged 1958 release provides only poor-resolution front cover image. Unable to confirm accuracy of date claims. Upper right identifier "Caedmon TC 1141" appears small over a single line, thus different from THIS release.
Love Poems Of John Donne
Different fancy LP labels - black on light blue, light green and white.
Back cover lower edge provides copyright data in a single line and with a different business address:
"(c) 1962, CAEDMON RECORDS . . . 461 Eighth Avenue, New York 1, New York"
This appears to be a later generation of the cover, yet claims an earlier release date that the (p) date of THIS release.
Study of Caedmon TC-Series Releases and Label Designs:
The blue and white LP label design of THIS release is relatively uncommon, but was used mush more frequently prior to 1962. It includes the (p) date on a consistent basis. Only one later example was observed (a Sherlock Holmes release). This release is typical:
James Joyce Finnegans Wake
The four-colour "fancy" label design is the most common, particularly after 1962. Earlier examples do occur but the (p) date is consistently omitted, leaving open the possibility that many or all earlier usages are actually later reissues.
Several other label designs were also observed - simple one colour or series labels, scattered across this time frame.
The general tendency of TC-series releases is clearly chronological, but earlier and later exceptions appear through any section of the sequences observed for 1958-1964. The placement of TC 1141 to 1963 is consistent with the majority of releases in that numeric sequence.
Both of these observed tendencies raise the suspicion that these other releases have been mis-dated.
