Richard Charest (born in Quebec on October 14, 1970) is a French-Canadian singer & actor. Very young, he already revealed a strong passion for music, especially hard rock and heavy metal. At 16, he joined the CRESCENDO troupe. TV shows, a single and solo performances on stage created a busy schedule. Richard left the troupe in 1989, then joined the Konexion group in 1991. With this new trio, he recorded a single, a video, and an album. It was in 1997 that he released his first solo album at BMG, an album entitled "Blues Occidental". In 1999 he won two roles in the musical "Notre-Dame de Paris".
