Richard Mason is an American singer-songwriter, actor, music producer and member of pop music duo the Night Runners. Born & raised in Miami, FL, Mason began his career as an entertainer during his reality television debut on the FOX singing competition the X FACTOR USA Season One. He competed in the group category and made it to the Top 8 Group Finals. In the summer of 2013, Mason formed the pop music duo the Night Runners with fellow bandmate Laz Chavez. They released an EP featuring the song "Single", performed the national anthem for the 2014 NBA Championship Rematch Game, and performed at the Capital Pride Music Festival in Washington, D.C. in front of music 50,000 fans. Richard Mason now is producing music for other fellow recording artists as well as releasing music of his own for a worldwide audience.
