French horn player. Based in Sterling, KS, he is Professor of Music and chair of the Music Department at Sterling College. Formerly, he was the Senior Manager of SoundForth, a sacred music publishing company. Holding degrees from Bob Jones University, Southern Methodist University, and The Ohio State University, Rick has been principal horn of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra (South Africa), section horn with the US Army Band “Pershing’s Own” (Washington, D.C.), and a substitute with the Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, Rochester Symphony, Boston Brass, and Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. He has taught on the music faculties of Bob Jones University, Clearwater Christian College, and the University of Cape Town.
