Richard Sheppard

Music archivist, researcher and promoter. First started in 2007 with the New Zealand website www.stonerdoom.co.nz, which connected like-minded rock bands and fans. At that time he also self-produced and released NZ's first ever compilation of local heavy psych & stoner rock bands, "StonerDoomNZ Vol.1". He is now the founder, webmaster and author of www.aftersabbath.com (aka The Day After The Sabbath), which specialises in articles, reviews, interviews and digital samplers of hard rock and heavy psych/prog from the decades of the 1960s and 1970s from all around the world. He has written for music publications such as the UK hard rock magazine Iron Fist, and since 2011 written various promotional material for rock festivals such as the annual Desertfest in London, UK.
