Single UK 2013 on Corbel Stone Press label
Electronic and Classical (Abstract, Drone, Modern Classical, Minimal, Ambient)
Third in the Archival Series, this album was recorded in 2005, at the same time as ‘Stolen Ground’ (from ‘Landings’ by Carousell, SRL04 ). Additional violin parts were recorded in the autumn of 2013. The title translates the following line from a pre-Conquest charter “quendam fraxinum quem imperiti sacrum vocant” and – notwithstanding its inherent prejudice – is a fascinating glimpse of pagan belief (and specifically tree-worship) in medieval England. 16bit / 44.1kHz flac version.
