Original Digital Recording The disc also contains the identical music program in conventional stereo - Dolby Pro-logic compatible. Playable all regions; compatible with DVD players worldwide. This music DVD features two well-known "space"-oriented compositions -- "Thus Spake Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss (also known as the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey) and "The Planets" by Gustav Holst. Performed by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Andrew Litton, they are presented in both standard two-channel stereo and spectacular five-channel VR2 Surround Sound. Issued in a standard black DVD plastic case with a 20-page booklet.
