Musician

English musicologist and pianist, born in Chichester in 1945. He first met Karlheinz Stockhausen in 1969, then became his teaching assistant in Cologne. In 1975 he emigrated to Australia, and is now Reader in Musicology at the Sydney Conservatorium. Since 2002 he has given analysis lectures each year at the Stockhausen Courses in Kürten.
