In der renommierten Berklee School in Boston absolvierte er seine musikalische Ausbildung. Mit seinem Projekt P4F konnte er als Musiker und Produzent einen internationalen Hit landen. Auch bei uns in der Bundesrepublik plazierte sich der Titel in den Top 10. Durch diesen Erfolg begann er auch in München als Musiker und Sänger in den Studios zu arbeiten, unter anderem für FANCY und die MÜNCHENER FREIHEIT. Mit der legendären Formation HOLLIES ging er als Musiker 1987 auf große Europa-Tour. Den Anstoß, als Solosänger zu arbeiten, gab Popmusiker FANCY. Jetzt liegt das erste Soloprojekt von RICK LAYNE vor: "Like Heaven". Eine Produktion für die internaionalen Dance-Charts. Jupiter Records
