Both parts of Ceremony were recorded live at Ceremony Hall in Austin TX on February 8, 2002. Tracks 1 & 3 were composed, recorded and assembled at Reed's home studio during 2003 & 2004. A slightly different version of track 1 was used as a live soundtrack component for a Nervous Magic Lantern display by filmmaker Ken Jacobs entitled "Seeing is Believing". Jacobs also used it in 2004 in a DVD project entitled "Mountaineer Spinning". CD packaged inside two printed sleeves of 100% recycled paper. Issued in an edition of 328 copies.
