Vocals, organ, keyboards. Reggae. Guyana Ricky Husbands was born in Guyana Jamaican family. Created in the Caribbean, where he also lived in Suriname, his musical work reflects the influence of Caribbean rhythms. He began his career singing in churches. Owns a timbre of sound and harmonious voice, he developed his musical ability as a vocalist and keyboardist. His first band was the Ambassador and then Curtis Mg's. With the rock band, The Family Affair, played in National Park, in British Guiana, to 15,000 people. Reached number one on the charts with three songs in the recording of their first LP, Blowing Hot and Cold, with Banda Duehsmo Syndicate, a hit in the Caribbean and in Europe, having sold more than 42,000 copies. He opened for Stevie Wonder, Steel Pulse, Yellowman and Mai Tai.
