Rika Ishii‘s second single after leaving Hello! Project. It was released over three years after her previous single, "Kotoshima" (琴島). Unlike her previous release, this was marketed as her major debut single, available for sale everywhere. (She released a single in 2015 which also was marketed as her major debut single, "Chinrenka" (鎮恋歌)). Songs from this single was used in the horror movie "Zoku", which also stars Rika Ishii in one of the main roles. 蒼 (ao) literary means Blue / Green, but can also mean Unripe / Immature / Young.
