Not an actual person, Rin Kagamine is the name given a female voice set in of a pair of voice banks in the voice synthesizer program Vocaloid developed by Crypton. The corresponding male voice set Len Kagamine. It is the second in the Vocaloid 2 Character series and is immensely popular in Japan. Rin and Len Kagamine's voices were sampled from Japanese voice actress Asami Shimoda.
