A.k.a. RIO
Pop Rock from Pueblo Libre, Lima, Peru (1984-Still Active) Originally named Royal Institution Orchesta and played just covers. Started to be known at North Lima playing in many gigs there. El Televidente (1985) was a big hit and turned famous with presentations Lima and other cities. Fisrt Album Lo Peor de Todo (1986) was presented in Chile (including TV Program Sábado Gigante), Mexico and Bolivia. With Dónde Vamos a Parar (1988) made a tour around many countries in Latin America. Played to peruvian inmigrants in Spain (2004), New Jersey (2006) and Los Angeles (2007). Since then make contant tours around U.S.A. and Europe. Had a presentation in Studio Coast, Tokio, Japan for the celebration of the Peruvian Independence Day in a auditorium full of peruvian fans singing their 80's Hits (2017).
