Road to Zion is Electro Dub Music Project from Italy. It was born at the end of 2012, when RTZ founder Mekis shared for the first time on web his riddim. After some months of songwriting they published its first release called Unnu Can Wid Mi with Colazion as singer. Nocturnal song with many influences in a trip hop view. Mekis, after his travel in Jamaica, discovered Rasta and Dub Culture. After this trip, he and Colazion published first Road to Zion release. 12 tracks with many influences: trip hop, drum and bass and dub music. After several live show, Colazion leaved the project and Mekis refounded everything with Winston Cobe on the bassline and Dave on the trombone. “The Monkey Temple” changed sound and live show. Cool reviews, interviews and many amazing live show in some important summer festival as Festival Radio Onda d’Urto before JAH9 live show featuring Fitta Warri (Zion Train), Pacì Paciana Dub Festival before Zion Train, MusicalZoo Festival before Madaski (Africa Unite) and Latte+ Festival for Frisco Shop before Mad Professor live show. In January, 2017 Road to Zion published its first vinyl EP called Dub Against Blackjack with official videoclip for Anarchy Into The Wild Beat. The sound is like French Dub as Panda Dub or Kanka but they never forgot the roots of Dub especially for UK view as Zion Train or classic jamaican sound.
