A.k.a. Robert John Partridge
Born Plymouth, Devon 2 June 1948; married 1970 Tina Lilavwala; died London 26 November 2008. Rob Partridge was a journalist (a former staff writer for Music Week, Record Mirror and Melody Maker), public relations executive, and band manager. At Island Records, he was Head of Press starting in 1977, and later became a Director of the company, running the Antilles label until the company changed hands in 1990. He then co-founded PR firm Partridge & Storey, which, after key personnel changes, became Coalition in 1996 and expanded into management in 1999. See Coalition Management.
