Irish sound technician and producer born 1965 in Dublin. For the Australian engineer based in Melbourne, use Robbie Adams (2). Best known for his work with U2 in the "Achtung Baby"- & "Zooropa"-era, Robbie also recorded various U2 concerts including "ZooTV Live From Sydney" and "Vertigo 2005 // U2 Live From Chicago". Started engineering career in 1987 in Dublin, moved to New York in 1996 where he worked with such artists as Smashing Pumpkins, Spoon, Beck, Patty Griffin, Leonard Cohen and Elysian Fields. In 2002, he moved to Los Angeles, reuniting with U2 for the Vertigo tour. Since 2008 working as a music editor and supervisor for film & television.
