From the Perry Films website: "A one-hour documentary featuring Robbie Robertson, charismatic musician from the legendary group, The Band, as he returns to his Mohawk roots and to the Six Nations Reservation in Ontario where he spent his childhood summers. This musical journey of discovery features Native American performers John Trudell, Rita Coolidge and Buffy Saint Marie among others." From KQED website: "Native American musician Robbie Robertson--long known as a musical innovator from his days with The Band through several successful solo albums--explores his musical heritage and collaborates with other Native American musicians, including John Trudell, Ulali, Rita Coolidge, Buffy Saint-Marie, Joanne Shenandoah, Sharon Burch and Peyote singers Primeaux and Mike. Working together in the studio and on stage, these musicians create contemporary songs from a collective memory."
