Robert Earl Blair (August 6, 1930 – March 19, 2001), was an American gospel musician and leader of The Fantastic Violinaires originating from Detroit, Michigan from 1965 until his death. He started his music career, in 1965, with the release of Stand by Me by Checker Records. His third album, The Pink Tornado, was released in 1988 by Atlanta International Records, and this was his breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. He released fourteen albums over the course of his career with the following labels: Checker Records, Atlanta International, Malaco Records, Chess Records, Gospel Jubilee, Grammercy Records, Bounce Records, and New Direction Music.
