Appointed vice president of manufacturing for Kay Bank Recording Company, Inc. in 1967. Haacke had previously been with Quality Records Limited Toronto, Canada for 17 years heading the plating department and quality control. Haacke was named president and managing director of Kay Bank Recording Company, Inc. in 1968. when Vernon C. Bank had stepped down as president and moved to Albuquerque NM Haacke stayed at the helm when in 1968 Kay Bank Recording Company, Inc. changed it's name to Sentinel Record Corporation.
