Robert Matthews (5) was the longtime piano accompanist in the Billy Sunday Crusades. He also served as Rev. Sunday's personal secretary and was involved in Sunday's crusades from at least 1907. His only phonograph recordings were made for Homer Rodeheaver's Rainbow Record label, and only two of his piano solos were issued, but he participated in many early Rainbow records that used a piano and organ accompaniment. Matthews also made piano rolls of medleys amd sacred selections for the Vocalstyle Company of Cincinnati, Ohio and sang bass on one Rainbow record.
