Robert S. MacDonald (Dec. 1, 1936 - Oct. 4, 2014) was an accomplished organist whose musical talent was nationally recognized. His talent took him to New York City to play at Grace Church and at Radio City Music Hall, where for many years he was the organist for the annual Christmas show. He then played at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newark, NJ. Bob then accepted a position as organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth, Texas, where he played for 19 years before retiring. Upon his return to MA he still was called on to play at the First Congregational Church in Rowley. His career took him on many tours of Europe with an organist group, where he got to play in some of the largest Cathedrals.
