Percussion master Roberto Tomás Vizcaíno Guillót was born in 1959. He graduated from Havana’s Superior Art Institute and started his professional career in 1984 as member of Rubalcab’s Proyecto ensemble. Roberto Vizcaíno was one of the first percussionists to combine instruments from different musical styles in his play. In the later nineties; he joined up with Orlando "Maraca" Valle and his Latin Jazz ensemble; Otra Visión.
