Violinist - guitarist - singer-songwriter Born 12.01.1948, Boston, MA USA He is a Harvard educated commercial jingle writer who began his recording career supporting Tom Rush. Following the release of John Parker Compton collaboration in 1971 and a pair of Pierce Arrow albums on Columbia in the mid 70s, he and fellow band member David Buskin teamed up to form Buskin & Batteau. Robin is the brother of singer songwriter David Batteau.
