Singer of Folk and World
Scottish folk singer born in Edinburgh in 1936. Most famous for his duo work with Jimmie MacGregor. Robin was a direct descendant of Rob Roy Macgregor, and of Mungo Park, the explorer. He spent most of his early life in Glasgow where he played with a traditional jazz group and studied the piano. Died on November 18, 1998, at the age of 61.
