„The Big Now“ is the new release on Robot Koch`s „Trees and Cyborgs“ Label. It`s a collaboration between the two LA based artists Little Ashes and Robot Koch, two critically acclaimed artists/producers who both left their European home countries a few years ago to meet in LA, where the song was created. The Big Now is a somewhat dark, yet visceral song that is not afraid to be a popsong at the core of it`s leftfield production. The EP features both the original track, and a more minimal piano version, beautifully played by Koch`s frequent collaborator Julien Marchal, as well as a Remix of the original track, which is actually another collaboration in itself: Koch teamed up with Ryan Davis for the remix. Davis released his latest EP „From Within“ on Anjunadeep, and his recent remix for Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds was featured in the playlist of Aphex Twin. VIDEO
