Musician / Composer / Arranger of Jazz
American jazz saxophonist, arranger, composer, and educator originally from Evansville, Indiana but best-known as a mainstay of the Chicago jazz and recording scenes of the 1970's and later. He had played with Buddy Morrow, Woody Herman, and Maynard Ferguson and had a stint with Merv Griffin's television show band before moving to Chicago in 1972.
