Roger graduated with a classical composition music degree at the age of 20 (1984) then became fascinated with digital sample manipulation and combining 'on-screen' sequencing using the legendary Fairlight Computer Musical Instrument with 'live' acoustic and orchestral performances. Before becoming one of the most commissioned composers employed by the BBC in the 1990s he had already amassed an impressive list of album / film credits as a keyboard player / programmer / arranger
