A Los Angeles-based trumpeter and hornist. Winner of the 1992 International Trumpet Guild's Mock Orchestra Audition, the Dolo Coker Jazz Scholarship, Outstanding Trumpet Player in the Pacific Coast Jazz Festival, he studied at Cal State Northridge and holds a masters degree in music from the California Institute of the Arts. During his career, he has worked as both a recording studio sessions player and as a tour musician, including in 2005 when he joined Green Day's "American Idiot" tour.
