Bluegrass Mandolin, Bass player and singer Ron hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. His musical career began at age 12 playing Rock and Roll. He was bitten by the Bluegrass bug at the age of 16 and traded his electric guitar for a banjo. He worked in several local bands until going national in 1999 with his band Within Tradition. Ron is a songwriter with a long list of recordings by several top Bluegrass acts. He has been a member of Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Special Consensus, David Parmley and Continental Divide, The James King Band and Reno and Harrell. He now makes his home in Joelton, TN.
