British jazz trumpeter. Born : June 27, 1925 in Aberystwyth, Wales. Ronnie worked with Carl Barriteau (late 1947), Nat Allen, "Lesle Holmes' Londonairs" (spring 1948), Harry Parry, Teddy Foster, Ted Heath (September 1949-May 1954), Jack Parnell (August 1954-February 1955), Geraldo (1955-1957), Cyril Stapleton (1957), led own quintet (1958), Johnny Evans (1959) BBC Radio Orchestra and many others. Was for a time married with vocalist Lita Roza.
