Ronnie Peterson (Hebrew: רוני פיטרסון) (born 5 June 1957 in Germany) is an American-Israeli blues and rock guitarist, singer and songwriter. By 1974, at the age of 17, he was playing guitar in support of Benny Latimore and recording with him. In 1987 Peterson and his brother, bassist Ray Peterson, met Israeli rock star Shalom Hanoch in New York City and were recruited to come to Israel and play in his band. They first appearied on his album Only Human (1988) and then the subsequent tour and live album. Peterson fell in love with Israel and moved there permanently in 1991. Since then he has worked in support of many of Israel's most popular artists. He launched a solo career with his 1993 album Mind Over Matter.
