Roots Attack is a french collective created in 2010 by Jérémie “Jeh Jeh” Clergue, operating from his own recording studio : the Honey Studio. After over 10 years as a musician (guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and composition), Jeh launches into music production, aiming to develop a roots sound inspired by the golden age of jamaican reggae. In 2012 I Fi joined Roots Attack. On the strength of its experience with Hi Fi Experience (sound operator, rythm maker and producer since 2005), it is yet his DJ skills (in the jamaican sense, equivalent of MC) he brings to the collective. His typical “rub a dub style” perfectly fits on Roots Attack’s productions.
