ROSA LUXEMBURG is a French Progressive Rock band from Paris. It all began in 2003 when guitar players Pipo and Minouche, and their sister singer Marie-Catherine with bass player JB decided to compose songs together. Then, when it was time to play live, Laurent, the last brother of the family, joined them on the drums. Their influences go from old Prog like GENESIS and PINK FLOYD, to modern bands like DREAM THEATER and PORCUPINE TREE, through pop coming from their love of U2 and THE BEATLES. ROSA LUXEMBURG wrote an album that they finally decided to record all by themselves. It was released in April 2009. (www.progarchives.com)
