ROT ON THE MARCH took place in december 2011 after Alex leave Five Times Defeat (gothic rock Voronezh, Russia). Alex began recording the album in January 2012. "Era of the Penultimate Steps" was released in Russia and Germany in 2013. There was canonical gothrock but a lot of listeners found it exciting. At the same year the band becomes the duet. 3-song EP "Crippling Dances" was recorded in 2014 with new lead vocalist Pavel.
