Owner of R.T. Studio in New Caney, TX, USA From Sword's Creek, Va. Left home to play music in Detroit at age 18. This was followed by a 20-year hitch in the Air Force. While stationed in England, he helped start the Grand Ole Opry in New Market, just north of London. Mullins also played fiddle and mandolin in bands backing Pete Sayers and John D. Laudermilk. He also cut two albums with his band, the Western Echos, Four in the Morning and Life at the Nashville Room.
