Ruby and the Vines fronted by vocalist/bassist Binisa Bonner, fuse influences as diverse as rock, jazz, afro-beat and reggae. The line-up is completed by guitarist Greg Sanders (Rhythms of the City) and drummer Ben Assiter (James Blake’s drummer), who complement Binisa’s soulful vocal delivery and melodic bass lines with complex, colourful grooves.
